Welcome back, lovely readers! (We may or may not have been watching too much Bridgerton this summer lol).

This summer has been a busy one! We've been doing beach clean up's, surfing, volunteering at our community garden, spending quality time with our loved ones and designing and testing out some new suits for next season! 

Here are some amazing nonprofits that your purchases donated to over the last few months:

1. Trees for the Futures, a non profit that trains farmers around the world in agroforestry and sustainable land use. Check them out at trees.org.

2. Surfrider, a longstanding community and conservation nonprofit that works on ocean conservation and changing policies to protect our coastlines. See their work here: www.surfrider.com. You can even volunteer your time at a local chapter!

3. Color the Water, a local nonprofit that is working towards decolonizing surf practice, removing performance standard/pressure, and trying to reimagine an ocean and coastal culture. Check them out at www.colorthewater.org or on Instagram @colorthewater

4. Maui Food Bank, a food bank that helps to provide hunger relief to those in need by collecting and distributing food to organizations and agencies throughout Maui County. Gotta help out the ohana! Check em out at https://mauifoodbank.org.

Other news:

-We are working on implementing a more streamlined process for our Take Back program and repair program so that we can include more than your swim and ultimately, hopefully, take your old clothing too so that it can be recycled.

-We had an amazing turn out for our first ever surf/ yoga/ beach clean up experience back in July. Shoutout to our friends at Sunset Beach, who allowed us to hold a safe space for our weekend warriors and clean up the beach, Irene and June, who helped lead us in yoga and mindfulness practice, and our amazing volunteers, who helped people from all ages and backgrounds get their first surf lesson and get stoked! Special shout out to our friends and family, who helped us get set up and helped us get things running smoothly after a few hiccups in the wee hours of the morning. We love you all, you know who you are. Let's do it again soon! 

-We were featured in several magazines and websites this season, which we are so grateful for. This includes Conde Naste Traveler, Glamour Magazine, VegNews, ecocult, and Hemispheres (part of United Airlines). Thank you all again from the bottom of our heart for the features! It is so appreciated.

-We are working on getting more stockists locally so you can check it out in person! Our latest stockist is the Calistoga Motor Lodge in Napa Valley, which is an absolutely gorgeous place. Let us know if you check it out and tag us on Instagram @dogoodsurfclub! 

-Lastly, we are testing out new sustainable surf suit designs to be released for next spring (and perhaps a few new things we will drop late summer!). Keep your eyes peeled!
