These bottoms are cut JUST RIGHT for surfing; they don't dig into my hips but they're still secure enough to stay on in bigger/messier surf conditions. The material quality is alsp fantastic; it hasnt' worn or lost its shape with wear/sun exposure. Great bottoms!
